单词excursion（远足），前缀ex-表“向外”，词根curs-（又作cur-）表“跑”，本义为“向外跑”；scour和excursion并非同源，但可能受到后者影响，所以在此简化为：s-与ex-对应，表“向外”；cour-和curs-对应，表“跑”。soar和strange的s-都相当于ex-。
